Check the logo
Look at the hologram label. You should see the Nokia Original Enhancements logo.
Check the dots
Angle the hologram and check the dots: to the left, right, bottom, and top of the logo, you should see one, two, three, and four dots respectively.
Stop using the battery
A non-original battery may result in poor performance and damage to your device. It may also invalidate any warranty.
Have your battery inspected
Return the batteryVisit your local Nokia Care Point and have the battery inspected for authenticity. If your Nokia Care Point can't verify that your battery is original, return it to the place of purchase. |

this 3.2 inches touchscreen smartphone sports a 5 MP camera and 229 ppi 16 million display. It has a 600 MHz processor which can handle high speed data transfer up to 10.2 Mbps!Sadly, it was not given the OS upgrade Anna as was offered for other phones of this type. Maybe it was not upgraded because it falls in the lower price range of smartphones. The Nokia C5-03 has been rated 3rd in the Top 10 Most Popular Nokia Mobiles 2012 list.
With ! million units already sold, the Lumina 800 has already proved that Nokia is going in the right direction! The Lumina 800 is a Windows phone and the flagship phone of Nokia’s new era. Powered by Internet Explorer 9, this 3.7 inch AMOLDED Clear black display phone boasts of an 8MP camera capable of HD recording! It also comes with a mind blowing 335 hours standby time on 3G. Lumina 800 currently is being offered in Black and cyan only.
The Nokia N8 is one of those phones which come out of the blue and blow away all the competition. The N8caused quite a splash with its 3.5 inches AMOLDED touchscreen and a 12 MP autofocus Carl Zeus camera. It has all the connectivity options popular now days and is quite fast too! Nokia N8 was launched with the Symbian 3 OS but now an Anna OS upgrade has been made available for it. Nokia C3-00 come out, quite surprisingly, at the top of the Top 10 Most Popular Nokia Mobiles 2012 list. Featuring a qwerty keyboard with wide and nicely spaced keys and a large navigational button, using C3 for browsing the internet, texting of just listening to music quite fun. The Nokia C3-00 has a 2MP camera and a 2.4 inches display to go with it. It also has WiFi connectivity for internet on the go. Most of us are quite at ease with the E series Nokia Mobiles introduced a few years ago. The Nokia E5-00 has been by far the most successful E series phone of the lot and is still in demand all over the world. Striking the perfect balance between being a business phone and an entertainment one, E5 has a standard qwerty layout with a large and easy to use navigation button. WiFi and HSDPA is available for speedy internet connections. Nokia C2-01 is probably the best second phone that you can keep with your Apple iPhone or Samsung Galaxy S2 and ranks 5th in the Top 10 Most Popular Nokia Mobiles 2012 list. It flawlessly runs GPRS and has a decent camera and display fir its 2 inch screen. The small price tag is defiantly a bargain as the phone packs a lot more productivity than its price suggests. It also cones with a 3.15 MP which sadly lacks a flash.
The X2-01 was a huge hit because of 2 factors. the first one was its price range. The X2-01 has all the basic and necessary features required nowadays and at a very low price. The second reason of its success is its customized home screen which has been optimized for messaging and playing media or taking pictures. It does not have any outstanding specifications which require a mention but it is in fact the overall effect which is more than satisfactory.
The Nokia 2720 runs on the rare S40 platform which somehow limits the usage and capabilities of the mobile phone. It does give you a Wap browser but that really what it has to offer. The body and design are quite eye catching and the dual display works like a charm. Nokia 2720 comes with the useful Bluetooth and push to talk features which do come in handy quite a lot. All this comes in the lowest price range which has made this phone a hit. It is placed 9th in the Top 10 Most Popular Nokia Mobiles 2012 list. Nokia N9 3G 16GB starts off the list of Top 10 Most Popular Nokia Mobiles 2012. N9 was one of the most awaited phones of last year and it really lived up to its expectations when it was launched. the unique design and structure with its tapered endings is quite a beauty to hold and use. The absolutely stunning 3.9 inch AMOLDED Clear black display has been reinforced with Gorilla Glass. A dual Led flash 8 MP Carl Zeus autofocus camera takes care of all the entertainment needs.
A soft and Hard reset
Thursday, August 23, 2012

A Soft-reset - the process of resetting all the settings of the phone to the factory default! No applications are deleted!
A Hard-reset is like formatting a drive! It does format the memory.
Everything that has been installed after the first use of the phone is deleted! It will recover the memory of the phone to the state you purchased it!
It is done by inputing the following code: *#7370#
NOTE: The battery must be full or the charger has to be connected to the phone so that it does not run out of power and make the phone unusable
Start up in Safe Mode so no 'auto start' apps will be running:
To make sure that no memory-resident programs start when you reboot your phone,
hold down the pencil key when you turn on the phone and hold it on untill you have to enter your PIN code.
(When you have trouble booting up the phone with the MMC in it because it got corrupted for some reason, this trick will almost always let you boot up the phone so you can remove the latest installed app which might have caused the problem or if your phone is "unrepairable" you can still back up your important data before you do a format.

Nokia 5800 Music Review
Thursday, August 23, 2012
Unknown
Although the phone’s interface needs minor buffing, the Nokia 5800
Xpress Music still offers a seductive exterior appearance and loads of
enjoyable features. Hundreds of multi-billion companies rushed in
towards touch-screen phones, but some companies became cautious with the
idea. Nokia for example may have taken some time before finally
developing their line of touch-screen phones, but the delay was worth
it.
Nokia 5800 Xpress Music, according to the company, was created to rival Apple’s Smart iPhone. 5800 is a decent phone that offers wide range of multimedia features that comes with a very sharp and slim package and dominating display screen.
Nokia 5800 shares a design similar to its iPhone rival and Samsung’s touch-screen phone, Omnia. The phone’s candy bar outline provides neat lining with rounded corners and burgundy and black color scheme. At 0.61 depths by 4.37 inches tall by 2.04 inches wide the phone becomes appears relatively petite as a touch-screen phone, although it is a bit thicker than most touch-screen phones today. But still, weighing in at 3.84 ounces the phone guarantees it won’t be weighing anyone down inside their pockets. In addition, 5800 also offers a sturdy, convenient, and comfortable feel in hand.
The phone’s touch-screen display measures 3.2 inches, which nearly makes the phone as big as Apple’s iPhone. It can support 16 million colors, that’s 640×360 pixels in exact, and is built with an aspect 16:9 ration. With this type of resolution, the phone’s colors become more vibrant and bright, and its photos and graphics also become bright. It also offers a convenient feature of adjusting the font size, brightness, and backlight timing depending on its user’s preference. Whenever the phone receives or makes a call, the 5800’s display will go dark when the phone is placed near the ear to conserve energy battery, and its brightness will also automatically adjust to different lighting environment.
Nokia 5800 Xpress Music also offers a standard menu system design, with its icons in grid format. For the most part, its submenus are equally intuitive, although it’s noticeable that Nokia didn’t optimize some of its interface in some of its application. Still, owing thanks to its accelerometer, users can easily, conveniently and freely shift between portrait and landscape menu views by simply rotating the 5800 down. Accelerometer also works in majority of the phone’s built-in application.
The phone’s display is also considerably responsive. Users can conveniently use their fingers to circum-navigate the phone or make use of its stylus. The phone’s dialer is built with large virtual buttons with large numbers for easy typing. Typing a message can be done in various ways. Its full QWERTY keyboard takes advantage of the phone’s display. It is spacious enough to use, just don’t forget that the display for typing messages is considerably small. The phone offers a separate board for numbers and symbols, and users can change the writing languages and language alphabets conveniently at the touch of the button. The phone also provides dedicated shift keys, back and returns buttons, and a large space bar.
Situated above the phone’s display screen, a small icon next to Xpress Music sign can be found. This may not be visible at first but actually by touching this small icon, it will open the dedicated multimedia menu onscreen where users can freely launch video, view photo, listen music, and more.
Located below the display are three controls: Menu Control, Talk Button, and End Button. This three key buttons are thin, but tactile. The phone is also built with an amazing volume rocker, a camera shutter, and handset-locking switch situated on the right spine of the phone.
Overall, Nokia’s 5800 Xpress Music phone is a good phone to buy and have. Although the phone’s responsiveness in some of its application do need some fix, it’s not really that annoying.

Nokia X6 Review
Thursday, August 23, 2012
Unknown
First released last November 2009, Nokia X6 comes in with an equipped quick access to social networking applications and unlimited downloads. To top this off, the new X6 model comes with a generous 32GB memory storage for users to enjoy. The phone may appear similar to Nokia 5800 but definitely comes with much better features and enhancements.
X6 is the first in a new range of Nokia music and multimedia phones that blends easily the best high-end bits feature with touch-screen and social connectivity goodness of today’s present smart phones. This phone, in other words, is a cracking music phone built with superb touch-screen interface, high quality features and excellent social applications.
Nokia X6 Phone Specification:
Wi-Fi 802.11b/g
Music play: for up to 35 hours
Talk time: for up to 8 hours and 30 minutes (2G)/ 6 hours (3G)
Stand- by time: Up to 401 hours (2G)/ 420 hours (3G),
Weight: 122 grams
Dimensions: 111”x51”x13.8”mm
3.5mm AV connector and headphone
5 megapixel autofocus camera with built-in dual LED flash/video light
Bluetooth 2.0 with built-in A2DP
GSM Quad-Band
3.2” capacitive touch screen utilizing 640×360 pixels
32GB Storage
128MB RAM
3G/HSPDA Tri-Band
Arm 11 434MHz CPU
Symbian Operating System v9.4, series 60
It is a stylish looking phone with a decent size and an ample robust feel to it. The phone at first glance looks similar to long phones, but is slightly narrower than one would expect. The front casing of the phone features a glossy finishing while its back is furnished with a matt finishing. It’s really hard to tell whether its back matt finishing benefits the phone or not. On one hand, its matt finishing prevents finger marks from sticking, while it also gives the phone a cheap appearance rather than an expensive look.
Viewing the phone from its top, its phone speaker and front facing camera can be found. Its 3.2” touch screen display dominates majority of the handset that utilizes 360×640 pixel resolution. And compared to Nokia’s earlier touch screen phones, the X6 is rather capacitive than being resistive which is definitely a positive step for the company as its touch screen’s ability to response is above excellent compared to the 5800.
In addition not only does its 3.2” screen provide 16:9 full-screen viewing, Nokia X6 also utilizes capacitive touch-screen technology, which makes the phone super responsive, responding to the lightest touch it receives from its display. Currently X6’s touch-screen display which throws in 16 million colors leagues ahead of N97’s touch-screen.
The phone’s call quality is also very good with the removal of its mic effectively removing background noise. It also gives a very clear sound even when using an earpiece.
Nokia X6 is built with a 5 megapixel autofocus camera complete with Carl Zeiss Tessar F/2.8-5.2lens providing a more accurate and sharp photo and video quality shots.
Although Nokia X6 can’t really be considered as a smart phone, it doesn’t mean that users can’t enjoy applications that smart phones enjoy. X6 can work perfectly with these apps due to its extended features that can support hundreds of applications that are readily available in Nokia Phone Centers. And at 111”x51”x13.88mm this superbly excellent music phone fits perfectly in anybody’s hand. That, of course, is a personal matter and best if you check it out yourself.
And finally, perhaps the most significant edge and main novelty of Nokia X6 as a music phone is its superb music features. X6 is considered as Nokia’s flagship music device, and so the company really went an extra mile in order to produce outstanding results, either from its built-in 3.5mm headphone jack, or from its stereo speakers.
